Easter is a very important time of the year in Syria and celebrations are many. A time of year where feasts are prepared, visitors are welcome with open doors and happiness surrounds each and every home.

For many families and individuals, Easter can not be celebrated as it traditionally was. Too embarrassed to leave the house with old clothes on and doors cannot be opened for visitors as they have no food to share.
