SYRIA PROJECT #8
A REAL FAMILY STRUGGLE
In Syria, lives a woman struggling and needs our help. 68 years old, she is a widow and she is struggling. Forced to leave her home in Syria during the war where her home was raided and taken over, and her husband was sadly killed in this war.
It is now just her and her daughter living together, both unable to work. Their only support is from her son who also has his own family to support and bills to pay. Her poor son can barely support his own family let alone them as everything in Syria is unbelievably expensive in these times. His salary can barely cover his mother’s medication and without medication her medical condition is getting worse.
Sadly, she now suffers from Diabetes, this affects her vision and she can no longer see at all. She cannot even wear shoes due to the buildup of fluid on her feet. Unfortunately, she also has been diagnosed with Hepatitis C which she desperately needs urgent medication to treat. They are unable to find treatment in Syria let alone afford to fund this medication elsewhere.
This beautiful woman is struggling, her family is struggling and desperately need support.
Our 8th Syria Project raised funds to help pay for medical expenses to alleviate some of the hardship her and her family are currently facing.
