SYRIA PROJECT #17

A DESPERATE FATHER WANTING TO SAVE HIS SON
In Syria resides a courageous, young five year old boy. Devastatingly, he suffers from Blood Cancer. Along with all the other stressors of the war in Syria, his father, who is his only support, is faced with the terrifying reality that he might not be able to save his son because he cannot afford the treatment.

His father’s monthly salary does not cover the costs of chemotherapy nor does it cover the cost of other expenses. Sadly, the hospital does not allow parents to stay with their children, and the cost of accommodation is also putting a strain on the family.

One chemotherapy treatment alone costs over 3 million(SYP) $1,781(AUD), and his father’s salary does not even come close to 1 million(SYP) $593(AUD) a month. He is stressed beyond belief. He does have close family members who are also trying to help, however and understandably they have their own financial burdens.

Thank YOU 🧡 with the help of your generous donations we together managed to provide funds which assisted in the expenses towards treatment and accommodation.
