An elderly woman with cardiac problems, was struggling with the increased costs of surgery and medical expenses.

Her only son worked days and nights to be able to pay for her medical treatments including, angiogram, stent and he ongoing medication. The cost of these expenses has become unaffordable for many. It has become so excessive that even working these additional shifts, her son is still unable to afford half of the required expenses.

Like many, they struggle to ask for help when they know so many others are in a similar situation. Together we were able to provide assistance and fund the entire cost of the operation, taking a huge burden off her son’s shoulders.
