GIFTS FOR REFUGEE KIDS

FOR EVERY $5 WE RAISE FROM THIS FUNDRAISER WE DONATE A GIFT 🙂

Every year we donate a box of toys to newly arrived refugee children who now call Adelaide their home; this is part of our Local Project Gifts for Refugee Kids.

When families arrive as refugees, the process can take some time and can be very uncomfortable and traumatic for these children. A new language, a new country with new faces, different food and different landscapes, you can only imagine the challenges these kids have to face and that’s just the beginning.

While they settle in, we do what we can to make them feel just that little bit better. One little toy equals on big smile, and a warm welcome to our beautiful city, Adelaide.

We enjoy picking out the gifts for the children, boys and girls aging between 1 – 14 years old – you can see them in the pictures below.
